Padma Guru
Born in the sacred Nyinba villages of Humla, I was deeply immersed in Buddhist teachings from an early age. My mother, the daughter of a revered yogi lama, nurtured my spiritual foundation, guiding me in devotion, meditation, and the profound wisdom of the Dharma.
At 12, my journey led me to Varanasi, where I began my formal education in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy. In 2007, I deepened my studies at Namdroling Monastery in South India and later at Drepung Monastery, where I earned my master’s degree in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and monastic discipline.
Over the years, I have also practiced and preserved ancient Tibetan rituals performed in sacred places, carrying forward the spiritual traditions of my lineage. These rituals—rooted in deep wisdom—offer healing, purification, and spiritual empowerment. Now, I am open to sharing these sacred practices with those who seek profound transformation and spiritual awakening.
After completing my education, I dedicated seven years to monastic service—teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the monastery’s growth. Now based in Sarnath, where the Buddha first turned the Wheel of Dharma, I continue to share the timeless wisdom of the Nalanda tradition, guiding the next generation of monks in Buddhist philosophy and meditation.
I believe that true peace begins within, and my mission is to empower individuals with the tools of meditation, wisdom, and self-awareness to cultivate inner harmony. Through my teachings, I aim to:
- Guide individuals toward inner peace by integrating Buddhist philosophy into daily life.
- Foster wisdom and self-inquiry, helping students develop clarity and insight.
- Support personal growth and transformation, enabling individuals to lead a mindful and meaningful life.
- Spread the essence of compassion and ethical living as taught in the Dharma.
- Share the knowledge of ancient Tibetan rituals for spiritual well-being and healing.
- Rooted in my ancestral lineage and enriched by years of dedicated practice, my goal is to preserve and share the profound teachings of the Dharma—ensuring they continue to inspire and transform lives for generations to come.
